Five Vietnamese painters are having their works displayed at the 2013 Art Expo Malaysia from September 19 to 22.
The painters are all from the Da Nang-based Arthouse Vietnam gallery, the sole Vietnamese representative so far at what has emerged as an important art hub of the Southeast Asia after five previous editions.
They are Lieu Nguyen Huong Duong, Bui Thanh Tam, Luu Tuyen, Pham An Hai and Vu Thanh Nghi, whose works are being displayed at booth No. 30 at the expo, taking place at the Kuala Lumpur-based Matrade Exhibtion & Convention Centre, the organizers said in a statement.
The 2013 Art Expo Malaysia has attracted more than 60 art galleries and organizations from 20 countries such as Singapore, Taiwan, Japan, India, Russia, Hungary, Myanmar, the Philippines, China, and Indonesia.
After the Malaysian event, Arthouse Vietnam will continue to send its artists and artworks to the 2013 Asian Contemporary Art Show to be held in Hong Kong from October 3 to 6.
